I built Casa de la Musa from 2008-2010 on a plot of land in the communal village of Ahuatenco, Ocuilan, in the State of Mexico. The villagers built it with me and I became involved in the community. The village is NW of Cuernavaca which is in the state of Morelos, 50 miles south of Mexico City. The climate is different from Mexico City - warmer in March - May but lovely. I moved back to Atlanta in 2014 and we go back as often as we can. I have a large studio upstairs and love to work there and in the garden.
